The Armor of God

   “Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”

        Wake up in the morning and put on your armor of God. We must pray to get our heart in the right place so that we may avoid sin and live more Christ-like. After all, life is just a really complex prayer to God. He sees our devotion to Him through our actions and character in everyday things. He sees if we truly do want to find goodness, purity, truth, forgiveness, and fellowship with one another; from the time we wake up until we fall asleep at night.

Judging Others is a Sin

     "Whenever I judge another believer, four things instantly happen: I lose fellowship with God, I expose my own pride and insecurity, I set myself up to be judged by God, and I harm my fellowship with the Church.  A critical spirit is a costly vice.  The Bible calls Satan ' the accuser of our brothers '.  It's the Devil's job to blame, complain, and criticize members of God's family.  Anytime we do the same, we are being duped into doing Satan's work for him.  Remember, other Christians, no matter how much you disagree with them, are not the real enemy.  Any time we spend comparing or criticizing other belieivers is time that should have been spent building the unity of our fellowship.  The Bible says, ' Let's agree to use all our energy in getting along with each other.  Help others with encouraging words; don't drag them down by finding fault. Experiencing Jesus
